Duncan’s first cooking memories are baking cakes alongside his Great Aunt Joan when he was seven years old.  He loves the idea of making people happy and what better way is there than to cook them delicious food.  He has worked as a chef throughout the South West of England as well as three years in Sydney, Australia.  His cooking is inspired by the ready availability of fresh Dorset produce on his doorstep, be it fish and seafood, wild caught game or locally grown fruit and vegetables, using the skills acquired in some of the top kitchens in the UK and abroad.

Amanda can’t remember not cooking.  Raised in Holland till the age 14 she then went on from school to catering college in Weybridge, Surrey.  This led her to a number of different chef positions where she honed her skills, culminating finally in her own café bistro in Blandford, Dorset.  Her experience and culinary choices have allowed her to develop some of the finest cakes, biscuits, quiches and breads we have come across.  Her speciality gluten free ranges are truly delicious, we challenge you to tell the difference!
